Discipline Rules

  1. Every student should carry with him the School Diary.
  2. Children must be in their respective class rooms at least ten minutes before the time fixed for their classes to commence.
  3. The warning bell before class is a signal for students to go to their respective class-room. This should be done in silence.
  4. All pupils are expected to be present for the assembly during which they pray together.
  5. The attendance roll will be taken at the beginning of the two-sessions.
  6. No child is permitted to Leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal/Headmistress, which will be granted only at the specific written request of the parents.
  7. All should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all class days. A student who is slovenly dressed may be excluded from the class-room or even sent home.
  8. During the recess pupils are expected to leave the class rooms.
  9. The Principal has the right to confiscate books, newspapers, periodicals and any other items which may be considered objectionable.
  10. All students must speak English in the School.
  11. Money should not be lent or borrowed or articles exchanged between the students.
  12. No collection for any purpose whatsoever is to be started and no meeting, demonstration, party or picnic may be held without previous sanction of the Principal.
  13. Presents to the members of the staff or other demonstration in their honour also require previous sanction.
  14. Any pupil desiring to be exempted from P.T. or games must produce medical certificate to the effect that he is physically unfit to take part therein.
  15. Children have no permission to attend parties, to go to the cinema or to go to friend's house on their way back home from the school.
  16. All pupils from VI onward must read at least 10 English books and 8 Hindi books in a year. At least one page summary of each book read must be shown to the class teacher or else 2 marks for every book not read will be deducted from English and Hindi paper in the terminal examinations.
  17. All pupils should have their books in a canvas or leather bag.
  18. Care must be taken for all school property and should not damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the wall. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the Principal. No pupil should bring razor blade or any sharp instrument to school.
  19. All letters and correspondence addressed to pupils are subject to the scrutiny of the Principal.
  20. The school is not responsible for articles or money lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles (like expensive watches, fountain pen etc.) to the school. Pupils below V Std. are advised not to wear the wrist watches in the school.
  21. Running, playing, shouting and whistling inside the school building is never allowed.
  22. Parents and guardians are not permitted to walk into class-rooms or interview teachers during class hours.
  23. The name, standard and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all his belongings.
  24. The students should behave in a refined manner wherever they go; they should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should always greet their teachers, elders and friends in a pleasant and audible tone of voice wherever they meet them in school or outside.
  25. Pupils shall be cheerful in their obedience to their parents and teachers giving them always the respect and affection that is their due and accepting their guidance and correction with gratitude.
  26. Cycles must be kept locked at the cycle stand only. Students should not ride around the school compound on bicycles. While entering or leaving the school gate, one must walk instead of riding.
  27. Students who come to school under the care of servants should never leave before they report to the school office.
  28. Those who go home alone should not loiter about the way. They should be prompt in returning home. Students are warned not to buy anything especially from street vendors.
  29. Students will not be called to answer phone calls during class hours.
  30. The school welcomes any suggestion and advice from the parents which is positive and constructive for the welfare of the children and the school.
  31. Those parents/children who cause any agitation and incite others to do so against the school or join with any anti-social elements to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the school forfeit the right to continue in the school. Those students will be dismissed without giving any other reasons.
  32. The Management has the right to take disciplinary action against students/parents who do not comply with school requirements.
  33. The school has the right to teach any subject that is required and approved by the Board of Education both compulsory and optional.
  34. Parents are requested not to disturb the school staff with any problem except during the office time.
  35. We request all the parents to avail the opportunity of meeting the teachers on the day of Parents-Teachers meet.
  36. Just because one child of yours is admitted in the school, it is not bound to give seats to all your other children related.
  37. Parents/Guardians are always welcome to meet the Principal from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on working days.
